Kalamazoo Model 2 (1966)

We love a Kalamazoo Model 2, not just because it sounds like a Marc Bolan rhyme but also because it's small, loud & dirty with a warm deep tremolo.  This one had been internally neglected and externally abused when we got it.  Cosmetically, we had to replace the grille cloth and make new back panels for it from birch ply.  Electrically, we had to remove the silly neon , change some caps and put a Wareshouse speaker in.  It's now in rude health and looking dapper to boot.  Needs a stepdown to operate at UK voltages.
