Gibson EH-100 (1938)

This one has been a real labour of love.  I won't lie, it was in a bit of a state when we picked it up a couple of years ago.  But, bit by bit, we put it back together.  A bit of rough diamond, you might say, we could tell that there was a good amp in there somewhere.  We reconed the knackered field coil speaker, we changed some caps.  We replaced the lost clasps, moustache handle & brackets.  It's not cosmetically original but its soul is intack and it has integrity.  Sounds shockingly good!  It has much of the character of the other Gibsno EHs, but with more spunk.  This amp is not just rare in the UK, it's rare everwhere.  Requires a stepdown transformer to operate in the UK.
