OK, well here it really is, a 1964 Vibroverb, pretty cool! When it came to us it had a non-original output transformer and speaker, which we improved on with a nice Hammond OT and a Warehouse G15C (like a Jensen C15N), which have helped nail the original sound of this very rare beasts. You know what makes it even rarer? An original export mains transformer that makes the amps on 240V in the UK. We replaced filter, bypass & bias caps during servicing, as you would expect, all the lovely blue molded coupling & tone caps are original, and all the resistors are carbon comp, so no tone issues here, just pure SRV magic tone!
