Fender Tuxedo Princeton (1964)

This is a Tux Princeton, it's got the exact same circuit as the last of the Princeton Brownfaces (6G2), with some of the cosmetics of the Blackface era.  Nice looking amp.   If you're not one of the few lucky enough to have played a brownface amp, they are a lovable blend of tweed and black, which is a sound is a sound all its own.   How rare are Tux Princetons?  If it weren't for the Internet we would be arguing whether they even existed, like Bigfoot.  This one is very clean and original.  It does have a changed speaker, a nice small magnet Jupiter, actually an improvement over the orginal, imo.  Nice and light, a little bit a hair but with some bass.  We've changed in a UK mains transformer beacuse you're going to gig this baby and you don't want any unneeded weight or faff, right?  The original US power transformer nicluded jn the sale.  You think this is expensive?  You can still get a quarter as good reissue for nearly two thirds the price from Andertons, instead.
