We turned this nice looking late Silverface back to the classic 1963 blackface circuit so you get to enjoy the best sounding Deluxe Reverb at a more reasonable price. We changed the filter, bypass & bias caps because they were all knackered. We hoicked out the pull distortion feature because it was an affront to common decency. And noisy. The non-original Eminence Delta speaker sounds pretty convincing with more power & bass than you would get from an original speaker. The trem is very good, covering the full depth and freqency range with style. The reverb is lush and spangley. We changed out the mains transformer so it runs on UK voltage. Everything else, including the output & reverb transformers, are original. A previous owner fitted Fender style removable castors, we've left them in so you can choose whether to keep them or not. We left the stock line out circuit in place because where's the harm? A superb amp. Remember the reissues are only a few hundred quid less and they have no soul.
