Lovely sounding 1961 Brown Super. Even by the standards of the Brownface era, this is a rare amp. It has an early Triad export mains transformer, the kind that you use connectors inside the chassis to change the voltage. This was fitted at the factory and means it runs OK in the UK without the need for a stepdown. The Output Transformer has been changed for a good quality Hammond at some point in the recent past. The speaker are good early 70s Alnico CTS 10"s, presumably taken from a Super Reverb. The most unusual thing about this amp is what we are certain is a factory installed solid state rectifier, which won't find a schematic for. There's no tab on the transformer to run a tube rectifier, even if you wanted to. Historic piece, but practical recording amp, too, used on Prefab Sprout's "Andromeda Heights" album. Missing back panel & footswitch.
