Exceptional sounding Reverberocket from 1963, angelic at low volume, plenty of hair when pushed, just what you want. This is the R-12-R-B circuit one with 7591 power tubes, rich and exotic. We've replaced the non-original reverb tank with a three spring, long delay, long tank, which now produces that long lush reverb that Ampeg are famous for. Combined with deep tube bias trem and you have a beguiling vintage package. Best of all, a period correct Alnico Jensen P12Q, a significant upgrade from the typical stock C12R. All in all, this is the best Reverberocket I have ever heard. Sports a very rare stock UK transformer, no need for a step down. Just as unusually, the handle appears to be original. Suprisingly light. Vintage Ampeg guitar amps remain criminally underrated.
