This is a truly extraordinary Ampeg Fliptop guitar amp. Two channels, reverb, tremolo, 2 x 12" Jensen C12Ns, this amp ticks all the boxes. Oh but it does so much more than just tick boxes. The reverb is out of this world, wide and tingly. The pitch shifting vibrato sounds like shimmering, bubbling, water. At low volumes the amp is pretty spacey, crank it and it sounds like thunder. Solid bass, fat mids, floating highs, it has a flavour all its own, nothing else like it. You'd be a fool to buy this without hearing it (like me) and you'd be a fool not to hear it. When it came to servicing it had clearly been worked by a clueless chancer but once we sorted those issues out there wasn't a lot needed doing. New cap can, a few new caps, replacememnt handle, a couple of catches, that was it. The dolly looks like an Ampeg one but for a different model.
